The Wisconsin Wheelchair Sports Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to provide sports activities to wheelchair users across the state. We sponsor bowling, fishing, basketball, skiing, and other sports activities that help to improve the spirit, attitude, and quality of life for people who are required to use a wheelchair.

Founded and run by people who use wheelchairs, we are especially in tune with the needs and desires of wheelchair users.

Bowling 2016-17 WWSA sponsors bowling for wheelchair users and stand-up bowlers. It is held at 7 pm every Friday night at AMF Bowlero Lanes, 11737 W. Burleigh St. Wauwatosa. 2017 Bowling Bash

The 31st Annual Wheelchair Bowling Bash wil be held Sunday April 9, 2017, Last year 24 teams participated and we raised over $2500 for wheelchair sports in Wisconsin.

The Bowling Bash is an event where able bodied people bowl from a wheelchair to gain an understanding of the difficulties of navigating the modern world in a wheelchair and help raise mony for wheelchair sports of all kinds. We have five person teams, male, female, and coed competing for three games to find out what it takes to bowl from a wheelchair. Sounds simple but you will have to come out and try it to be sure.

We provide the wheelchairs, 3 pitchers of beer or soda, a tee-shirt, and food afterwards to make the day a sucess. It is a great team building experience and a fun way to spend the afternoon while helping out a good cause. All money raised is used to sponsor wheelchair sports in Wisconsin. You can contact us at or click here for a flyer.
